Greetings from Apache Trail Animal Hospital!
We hope you all are taking appropriate precautions and staying well! For the ongoing well-being of our healthcare team, clients, and community, effective immediately, we are postponing all non-essential hospital visits. This includes preventative visits, grooming, nail trims, boarding, etc.
We hope that this will allow us to continue to be available for urgent medical needs. As this situation evolves, we will continue to try to be available by phone during our normal hours. Please call us if your pet is having any health issues; in most common cases we will try to get as much information as possible over the phone to determine the best course of action/treatment on a case by case basis. Currently we are still providing hospital services for sick pets. Going forward, in some cases we may be able to provide phone consultations; in others a visit may still be needed. We appreciate your patience as we all work together to provide needed care for your pets while also attempting to maintain the health of our community at large.
We anticipate our phone lines will be busier than usual, and therefore, we appreciate your patience!
So that we can maintain distancing and control the number of persons within the hospital, we are keeping our doors locked so that we can regulate access. Many services may be able to be accomplished in the parking lot and some patients may have to be brought into the hospital for further treatment(s), for the safety of you and your pet(s).
Medication refills: Currently we are able to provide medication refills. Please call ahead; we are generally taking credit card payments over the phone, and can bring medications to your car, so please call when you arrive. Medications and foods are also available from our online pharmacy at apachetrailanimal.com. We can also mail most medications directly.
Obviously, anyone who has a fever and/or cough should be staying at home; please do not come to our hospital if you are not well or if you think you may have been exposed to someone with the coronavirus. We will work with you over the phone to provide as much care for your pet as we can as circumstances allow.
Thank you all for your cooperation during these changes!
